Monday 7/10
Our hotel kindly fixed an early breakfast for us at 6:30 so we were able to load up our luggage and leave by 7:40. Traffic was light so we got to the airport by 8:30, in plenty of time for our 10:50 flight to Chennai. We sang a blessing (Num. 6:24-26) and said a tearful good-bye to our driver. All our flights were on time and we arrived in Hyderabad at about 3 PM, were met by several locals, loaded up a new bus and left the airport at 4:15. The weather here is cooler than Madurai and it rained intermittently during the ride which lowered the temperature even more so it felt like it was around the mid-seventies. After 3 hours, we got off the expressway and ate dinner at a truck stop, then continued about 8 PM, arriving at our hotel in Khammam at about 10 PM, a long day of travel, but PTL, we all got here safely with our luggages. It was pouring after dinner when we got on the bus, but stopped long enough when we checked-in so we and all our luggage did not get wet, another example of His grace.
