TK has just returned from India and reports wonderful things happening there after Vision left. This is God's doing and nothing about what Vision did or did not do, so give God all the praise and glory.
* One of the Vision Seeds members accepted Jesus into her life after doing ministry together during Vision's trip. We did not realize she was not a true disciple because she grew up learning the lingo but now TK tells us her life has been transformed and she is sharing with her unbelieving friends (who are turning their backs on her because she no longer parties with them).
* Ten groups of two went out for mission trips in remote areas of India. A team of two young men has spent the last 42 days visiting 17 villages and sharing the Gospel. They were turned away in two of the villages but in the other villages, they started 15 churches (small house church of 25- 50) and baptized 532. All 10 groups baptized and planted churches throughout the area they were in. When TK met them, one young man had a bandage on his head. He said it was no big deal but TK found out someone has thrown a rock which hit him on the head while he was sharing the Gospel.
* One of our main goals in going to India with the teaching team in May and Vision in the summer was to empower the locals. The young people were amazed when we prayed for the adults (they are used to the elders praying for them) but now they boldly pray for others. Many elders in the churches used to view their young people as kids but now they realize they can be valuable partners in ministry.
* Daniel in Bangalore has quit his other jobs to concentrate on teaching music and started a choir among his students. He now volunteers for free to help SFI because God has blessed his school and he is earning more now than when he was working three jobs. Three of the young adult are teaching youth Choir, Band and Dance at "Hang Out" (after school Program) as the youth do not have a place for them to hang out after school. They will be performing 3-4 times a year at the local Christian Place.
