{FECA Vision Choir} Home safely!

Our flight from Guangzhou to LAX was delayed over an hour so we landed a little past nine instead of eight. By the time we cleared immigration (which was very quick given their new system), we had to wait for our luggage. Unfortunately, Josh is missing a bag (and lots of other people were also missing bags) but the rest of us all got our bags. Josh had to report it missing and the airline promised to deliver his bag (if it shows up tomorrow) to his home. Otherwise, the flight was uneventful although very long (over 13 hours, but an hour shorter than going there).

One item about our flight from Chiang MI to Bangkok. Because that leg of the flight was considered a domestic flight, instead of 2 free bags and 50 lbs per bag, Thai Air's policy is 30 kg (66 lbs) per person, any number of bags. But God's grace covered us even there. Marshall's two bags together weighed in at 29.5 kg and everyone else easily met the limit (because we carried so many gifts and books going there, our luggage was much less coming back).

So praise God we are all back (not sure when Eric returns from Manila) safely! We have been so blessed to be able to go on this mission trip. Please come to our Home Concert, Saturday August 15, 7:30 at FECG.
