Subject: {FECA Vision Choir} Vision prepares to leave
As Vision prepares to leave tomorrow (Thursday night), I thought I
should update you all on what is happening. It seems we are seeing a
lot of unexpected occurances, which to me is a good sign that God is
about to do something marvelous and our enemy is throwing roadblocks
trying to sidetrack us. But God is also preparing us. FEC Glendale
had a wonderful retreat over the July 4 weekend in which God's spirit
moved mightily and over half of Vision were at the retreat. Several
of the Vision kids on their own called for a prayer meeting which we
held Tuesday morning, and they prepared a long list of items to pray
for. It was a sweet time of communion with the Lord.
Meanwhile, Brian Kuan's grandmother passed away and her funeral is
this Saturday so he cannot leave with us tomorrow night, but God made
a way for Fiona Hsiung to accompany Brian and we were able to change
their flight to Sunday night (although we have to pay a penalty and
the difference in fares). My cousin Angel Huang is going to pick them
up in Manila and take care of them for about 15 hours until their
Jakarta flight leaves that night (she is a real angel). Kelsey Chang,
after praying with her parents discerned it is not the right time for
her to come with us (and I fully agree), but she is committed to pray
with us, do our tour devotions, and fully support us when we are
there. One of the Indonesian boys who has been practicing with the
group there also had his grandmother pass away and is most likely not
joining us. So remember us in prayer. God is going to do something
wonderful and the enemy does not like that so he his throwing his road
blocks at us, but ALL IS WELL! Hallelujah.
