You might not know about this but it has been about 40 years since our
choir sang Handel's Messiah in Chinese and about 20 years since we
first sang the Messiah (in English) with Maestro Jahja Ling, the world
renowned Chinese orchestra conductor, now resident conductor or the
San Diego Symphony Orchestra.
This Thursday, we will be singing almost the entire Messiah in Chinese
(one performance only) at the Pasadena First Nazarene Church, 3700 E.
Sierra Madre Blvd, Pasadena, 91107 at 7:30 PM, free admission!
The church seats about 2000 people so I hope you can all come to
listen to this historic concert and invite your friends. Over 80 of
us have been practicing hard for the last six months for this
performance and we have a professional orchestra and soloists joining
us.
Blessings,
Marshall
