Noted on your decision and I concur.
Here are my after thoughts:
I appreciate your position as a team leader/organizer. This has been a difficult call.
Until this morning, I was still praying obediently.
Yet, I pray that we will not ignore signals and consideration for the situations presented to us on the expense of our selfish need to be obedient.
I was praying that the Lord will less us know how would the people receive us now that California has cases and one death from the virus. On top of that, we are Chinese. Potentially we could add a lot of anxiety to the people intend to serve.
Let's pray how the Lord will lead from here.

Turkish Airlines has cancelled our flight to Erbil on March 20. After much prayer, we have concluded this is a clear answer from the Lord that we should at least delay our trip at this time. Please pray for those who are there now that they can return safely and in a timely manner. Pray also that if it be God's will that we go in the Fall, we can find a good time for all of us to go and perhaps even field a larger team. Thank God that He is sovereign and we can rest in His goodness, leading, and timing.

{FECA Vision Choir} Iraq team

Thank you for your prayer for Vision, many of you for several years. We have a mostly senior team leaving for Kurdish Iraq this March 20 and returning April 3 (God willing) and would really appreciate your remembering us to our Heavenly Father. With the ContraVirus situation, we are not even certain our flights will not be cancelled but if God leaves the door open, we plan to go, so pray for us.
Here is our team of eleven (some may be leaving earlier or returning later and some are experiencing some health issues so they may not go):
