I just want to thank for praying for Vision, some of you for many, many
years. We are about a month from leaving for Thailand, and I wanted to send
you this letter so you can know you are on our mailing list to receive
updates when we are in Bangkok. If you wish to be removed from this list,
just follow the directions from googlegroups.
I do want to share a wonderful story with you to show you what happens when
we do a little thing for a great God. You remember in 2005, we went to
Manila with Pastor Mongens. We visited a minority group called the Warai who
live in a wilderness area near Manila called Cogeo. We were able to pray
for the village leader who was healed of TB, and Mongens' message in half
Tagalog and half English brought many in the village to Christ including
this leader. Since then, Ching and Thang Ngaihte, our FECA supported
missionaries, have been faithfully discipling many in Cogeo. In their May
newsletter, Ching reports this item:
"Praise God, 10 youth from Cogeo with Pastor Dan are going for Mission trip
to Sorsogon Bicol region end of May. Pray that these young people will feel
God¹s presence and they will be able to make decision for God¹s will in
their lives. They will also impact the youth in Bicols to love God and serve
him."
So please continue to faithfully pray for us. Who knows what God wants to
accomplish this year? Our prayers open the way for God to move in ways
beyond what we can even imagine. Soli Deo Gloria (to God alone be the
glory)!
